Kids act up in stores--it's a fact of life like birth and taxes. Ideally, we parents should march our little miscreants out when they misbehave, but that's not always practical. I heard one (rather self-righteous) mom say that she leaves the cart and goes home if her kid acts up. That's counter-productive. She's taught the kids nothing and made more work for herself and the poor clerk who has to put her groceries away.
