Attachment Parenting: Bonding with Your Newborn

The idea of attachment parenting is bantered around frequently. Speaking as a 25-year attachment parent, it's much more than talking the talk. We didn't do it perfectly, but we did walk the walk. Here's how, starting with newborns.

* Hold baby. You can't be attached to baby if she's always in a separate conveyance: stroller, infant carrier, bouncy seat. Ditch the carrier, except when using as a car seat. An infant's developing body shouldn't always be hunched in a reclining position.
